One World Cycling Club e.V.

The One World Cycling Club e.V. is part of the One World Movement dedicated to creating a world in which we - as different as we may be - can all live together in freedom and peace and without fear and in which we have the resources of the earth as our natural basis of life and protect the global climate. The OWCC e.V. would like to give visibility to this concern through its actions.

Anyone who shares the goals of the One World Movement and wants to practice or promote cycling against with regard to the goals of the One World Movement can participate in the One World Cycling Club e.V. The purpose of the association is to maintain and promote cycling in the context of the One World movement, with a special focus on mass sport. This purpose is achieved in particular by organizing a performance-oriented training offer and participating in or organizing cycling events.

The meaning of life: The meaning of life is to make someone especially happy and/or to ensure that the world becomes a bit more - healthier, fairer, freer, more peaceful, friendlier...

My view of the world: The world must be a place where we all - no matter how different we may be - can live in freedom and peace and without fear!

I am involved with OW because: We only have this one world. If it is to be as just described, then we have to work for it. That's an achievable goal.

Thumbs up for cycling because: Cycling not only stands for values such as sporting fairness, diversity, discipline and willingness to perform, but also sets a strong state for ecologically sustainable mobility.

Other interests: A good book or a good conversation over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in Münster or another beautiful place...

Deputy Chairman

About me:

The meaning of life: Searching for personal happiness and helping others to be happy too. This presupposes a free, peaceful and equal coexistence of all people in the world.

My view of the world: There is a lot wrong with the world. We urgently need to work to fix this. Military conflicts must be ended immediately. The world must remain worth living in for us, also from an ecological point of view, and must be preserved for future generations. We have that responsibility.

I am involved with OW because: The One World movement is a project that can actually make the world a better place. It shouldn't matter where someone comes from or wants to go, no matter what.

Thumbs up for cycling because: Cycling can bring people together in one place and with the same goals and from there it allows us to set off together - largely climate-neutral - and to discover the world without compromising sexuality, religion, appearance and Origin, etc. play a role.

Other interests: sports (especially mountain biking, skiing and hiking), cooking and my garden.

Thumbs up for cycling because: It's the most beautiful and most intense sport, I've been infected since I was 10 years old ... Because cycling has been a common thread through my whole life, it has given me so much and I would like to give something back ... See Wikipedia: Ralf Stambula

About me:

The meaning of life: enjoy every moment and be happy that you are healthy and alert!

My view of the world: try to respond to people more. Even if they have a different opinion, in order to find a common consensus and not impose their opinion on everyone. Even if the person opposite does not correspond to your own values that you have from the world.

I'm involved with OW because: It's a great concept and you can really make a difference.

Thumbs up for cycling because: You learn values that you can use for your whole life. Such as determination and perseverance. And because it's the best part-time job in the world.
